She asked for e-mails, idiot. She probably never even came back to read the replies here. Use your brain for once.

Ms. Kang, you ask for input on 3/16 with a paper run date 2 days later? What was your cutoff? You had one valid reply on the 16th. All the other replies were 3/17,18. How can you seek valid input from a number of folks within this time frame?
Welcome to the world of the daily newspaper. You'd be surprised how many insightful "think pieces" are pitched cold at the 11am meeting. Then you make 20 phonecalls from 12-2. Then you surf the web for an hour and wonder why the f*ck no one is calling you back. Then from 3 to 4, five people call at once. Interview 'em, start writing at 5, try to not to be too late for dinner at 7.
Then four days later, a few more people call you back offering to help with your story, which ran three days ago...

Thanks for your insightful reply. BTW, I knew she had her e-mail address noted. Obviously, you didn't read my questions. To reiterate, I asked how she could look for input on the 16th and have the article appear on the 18th.
'hold the phone' did a much better job explaining how it all works, although I would never want to work under those circumstances.
My brain works fine, thank you.
you sir are a complete and utter f***ing moron ...
first of all, whose fault is it that your customers have blistering problems from the kinsei when they pronate? isn't it YOUR responsibility to make sure they are in the right shoe for their foot mechanics? regardless of whether they come in asking for this shoe, YOU should be the one telling them whether it works or not ... not the other way around.
And, hey, dumbass ... it's "gait"
yeah dipshit ... it's the .32 ounces that's going to make a difference, not the spare tire around your midsection. and have you actually run in a new balance shoe recently? talk about heavy and bulky ... valet park your high horse and get with the program.
so do you actually look at the shoes before you order? any freaking dumb as a post numbskull who says "stick with the pegasus" as opposed to the vomero has clearly not tried on any of the shoes -- let alone listened to their customers' input. the vomero has a better fit than the pegasus (have you not noticed the baggy fit on everyone but neanderthals?) not to mention a much softer feel and a "wow" factor at $110 that far surpasses the $120 nimbus. no wonder your store sucks.
a lot of anger here for a thread about sunning shoes...i bet the woman who started it is impressed..
All I know is R. Kennedy is a bad-ass kayaker. Oh, and his car is a piece of shit.
Many thanks to those who replied to my post about high-end running shoes. While just a few comments made it into the paper, the many comments and diversity of opinion helped me develop the story. I may post again from time to time, and I'm always eager to hear runners' thoughts on the shoe manufacturers and the sporting goods industry in general. Best, stephanie
