No, it wouldn’t. Very few people wouldn’t be appalled by seeing that level of violence. And given the ridiculous difference in size, “stand your ground” is not a compelling defense.
A lot of trash in that community. Was not always like that. The people who could afford to leave did just that. Low education, low employment, low income equals armpit. In reality the entire metro aera is shrinking. At the rate things are going it will be like Gary Indiana in less than 50 years.
And as predicted the woke judicial officials in St Louis will not charge the attacker as an adult...Doesn't matter that they won't name the attacker now. Her name is all over social media.

Let's be real, this is simply the reverse of all the people who dismissed the treatment of George Floyd because he'd done crimes in the past, dismissed the treatment of Michael Brown because he'd done crimes in the past.... etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. And trust me, search my handle and you'll find I'm no leftist. I just don't like double standards and hypocrisy.
I also work for a prosecutor's office and while this is an unusually brutal assault, I wouldn't call it strange to charge a 15-year-old as a juvenile in an assault case -- I assume that is the charge, and not attempted murder or something. I'm in a different jurisdiction but usually our attorneys won't even consider certifying a defendant as an adult if they aren't at least 16 unless it is murder or attempted murder.

"Michael Brown should be celebrating his 28th birthday today". If he didn't violently assault a police officer, he would have been alive, if he had't been shot by another teen.
