So there are five men listed in the results linked at the start of this thread who got the 2:08:10 Olympic standard from countries without three athletes already qualified.
Christian Zamora 2:06:54 Uruguay Suldan Hassan 2:07:35 Sweden Rory Linkletter 2:08:01 Canada Phil Sesemann 2:08:04 Great Britain Carlos Diaz 2:08:04 Chile
But it looks like Zamora may not have actually run the time and he's not listed in the results on the Seville Marathon app.
Not sure if Zamora did get the qualifying time which would bump Korir up a spot. pic.twitter.com/soxcDFkEkj
Also, Sesemann was already ranked ahead of Leonard Korir entering today, he just didn't have the auto time. So the result is that Korir will be bumped down from #68 to #72 if Zamora's time was legit, or from #68 to #71 if it was not.
The auto time was important for Sesemann, after all British Athletics would likely have not selected him otherwise despite being well inside the top 80 on the Road to Paris

That's looking dicey for Korir with fast spring marathons in Europe to come. Rotterdam and London will be quick, it wouldn't surprise me if either Marc Scott or Mahamed Mahamed hit the standard for Britain

Doesn't it matter more where Panning is ranked vs Korir, bc he's ranked ahead of him? I thought we only needed a US man to be ranked highly enough for Korir to go and it doesn't have to be Korir himself with the ranking?
