Man, the racism and misogyny just shine, shine, shine through on this board. Is this where the worst of all runners collect?
She's better than you. More focused, more talented, more successful, and she gets (deservedly) more attention. That's what you can't stand.
Why do people keep making this garbage take? Everything you said applies to all the other athletes as well, but they aren't disliked. People don't like Sha'Carri because her attitude is trash and she has no filter (read: is unprofessional). That's it. It's no deeper than that.

What did she do that was so offensive to you? I’m talking about this USATF meet and not her past history.
I’ve seen far worse from other athletes and they have not gotten the scorn that Sha’carri has.
First she's really talented and has a great shot at medals in the next few championships.
Second, she really triggers letsrun altright trolls and the like, e.g., the OP, and it's simply fun to watch them get all bent out of shape. Ha ha snowflakes!
Third she has a different sort of personality and brings it to the track, there's a reason she's currently the most popular track and field athlete in the US.
There have been female sprinters before her with long fingernails, odd looking running apparel and personality traits that rub buttoned up people the wrong way, and there will be those types of athletes after her.

THIS is a garbage take.
Point #1: Her attitude is trash
Please elaborate on what she has done this meet which justifies your point.
1) She is a showwoman. Throwing the wig was excellent tv, whether you like it or not.
2) She immediately runs up in the stands to thank and celebrate with her family and friends, who made the trip to support her.
3) Her interview was actually quite reasonable. She humbly admitted (after Lewis Johnson made a faux pas and congratulated on her “first title” which surely had to feel insulting) that the last time he interviewed she wasn’t mature enough for the spotlight, but now she is “not back but better”. This is refreshing, not garbage!
Point #2: She is unprofessional.
And just what do you think the professional obligations of a track and field athlete are?
1) She won a US title
2) She ran a world lead
PRETTY DAMN GOOD AT HER PROFESSION, NO?
3) beyond that, she is challenging the status quo of USATF and has called USATF and their streaming platform out this month, as well as refused to go along with the absolute BS media status quo (not interviewing til Sunday) that USATF prefers.
NEARLY ALL REAL T&F FANS are fed up with USATF, and one of our highest profile athletes decides to stand up and carry that torch. And just because you don’t like the way she presents herself (whether due to prejudice or being boring), you can’t stand behind her?
Sounds like someone who is, as other posters have said, 100% good for the sport.
She’s being herself! Let her run fast and make a show! There’s nothing with her show. There should a lot more her in Track & Field.
Exactly! Many men sprinters have huge personalities -- it is expected and part of the show. It seems like some men just don't like it when some female sprinters have the same ...
If any sports needs some personalities it;s track and field. Think pro rasslin', who puts butts in the seat the heels.
The girl brings some attitude and she can back it up, pretty exciting stuff, sure beats Allyson Felix she is a mom ya know. Would love to see her wave it off the next tme she is handed some flowers, what is with that?

Oh, watch the calendar pages fly backwards, and land on exactly the same kind of remark about complaints about Serena Williams. "She makes unladylike noises! She's got no modesty! She has a terrible attitude!" etc., etc. Can you say misogynoir

Is that why she blew through the mix zone so quickly yesterday? I kind of found that to be a bit odd.
