What world do you live in where $86K is handed out like candy? If the OP claims to be a transgender female he will have to provide documentation of hormone treatments which he can’t do. If the OP just claims to be female, it will be obvious he’s a guy and he’ll have to provide a physical.

Is it though? They save almost 100k and lose to women, they are running as a women now so that shouldn’t be any more embarrassing than losing to a man when you are running as a man.

If the OP had his birth certificate changed and he lived as a female.from age 14, he is female. You must not be in high schools or colleges. People are what they say they are.

OP didn't ask about a scam. He asked if he could compete on a woman's team. He may have a case. You keep referring to the transgender rules. We are aware of those. Many young people don't claim to be transgender even though born a biological male. They believe they are a woman. They woukd have no problem being recruited to be on a womans' team.

All nonsense aside, the OP has already run for the mens team at his small D-1 school so he has no chance of now running for the women’s team.

I don't understand why this is a scam. The OP is trying to earn scholarship money and there are clearly stated rules that if he/she identifies as trans that he/she should be allowed to compete for the women. The real scam here are the rules for letting this happen in the first place. I say if he/she can follow the rules and achieve them- great.

Also there is a thing called "red shirt" where he/she could sit out for a year and use that time to still take the drugs and have a full season left. There's so much money out there and to have a near certain All-American on the team, it isn't impossible to think someone would invest in that opportunity to win at the D1 level.
