The Brits controlled the land and created the Balfour Declaration which announced their support for the establishment of a homeland for the Jewish people.
The Brits simultaneously promised the same piece of land to Arabs in Hussein-McMahon correspondence. They are more responsible for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict than any other country.
Palestinian supporters who want to end suffering of Palestinians and want to create a state for Palestinians need to compromise to create that state as a Palestinian homeland and get Palestinians refugees out of Syria or Lebanon refugee camps into the Palestinian homeland.
Palestinian leaders are scared to make any meaningful compromise because of what happened to Anwar Sadat.
The same with Israeli leaders and assassination of Rabin.

The Balfour declaration was written and pushed by Zionist Jews.'
Can someone explain this conflict please with minimal bias
The crux of the issue is that Israel never had a fundamental reason to exist, but Jewish people wanted a homeland and they convinced powerful western countries to go with that plan and plopped the state of Israel on the map right amidst a bunch of Arab countries soon after WW2.

Israel is fundamental to Judaism and for 2000 years Jews have been praying for a return to the land of Israel. The idea that a State of Israel was cavalierly plopped in the middle of Arab countries is disingenuous.

The Old Testament isn’t really a land deed that all can agree on.

Well if Israel is fundamental to Judaism, I guess that means Jews from anywhere in the world are entitled to kill and steal and do whatever is necessary to create a Jewish state on top of Palestine.
Israel was not "plopped" anywhere. Zionist Jews used violence and lies to make it happen

Jews (Hebrews, Israelites) were expelled from the land 2000 years ago were they not? They have endeavored to return ever since have they not? There's room enough for Palestinians and Israelis is there not?

Who was there before the Jews?
Do they not own the land?
How about the people living there for the past several centuries?
No land rights for them?
Israel will not share with non Jews. They demand a Jewish majority. I assume you do too

One of the questions is "what makes one a Palestinian". Wikipedia offers this The Palestinian National Charter, as amended by the PLO's Palestinian National Council in July 1968, defined "Palestinians" as "those Arab nationals who, until 1947, normally resided in Palestine regardless of whether they were evicted from it or stayed there. Anyone born, after that date, of a Palestinian father – whether in Palestine or outside it – is also a Palestinian.
If the Palestinians laid down their weapons today there would be peace today.
Naive or ignorant.
Settlers would force more Pakistan’s from their homes and into refugee camps.
"Pakistans"
The refugee camps are voluntary. They've been there for 50+ years because they are a cash cow for the corrupt Palestinian leadership that lives in lavish villas in Europe.
