While Hillsdale is notorious for weak openers, that wasn't their JV squad. With only 10 runners on their roster a minimum of 3 of those runners will be on the regional squad. If you look at who didn't race, it's pretty clear it'll be more than that.

Yes, Hillsdale may be notorious for weak openers, but if you take a closer look two of the guys that ran this weekend were in their top 7 at conference a year ago. I will be interested to see how they stack up this weekend.

Also, will mid-distance laden Northwood take it to Malone or will the Pioneers take out the Wolves. Malone has looked lack-luster to say the least this summer and with there top guys from last year gone, they may find themselves in a dogfight with ODU at the GMAC championships.

I'm glad you thought Evan looked good but there's no chance he's winning. It sounds like you may have a mild to not so mild sized crush on him and that's great for you! With Zayne Alderitch of Northwood coming in, Zac Craft transferring from Noter Damn, and Ned Ficher from Fiendlay, he should be content with a top five finish

Jack Hazen hasn't wrote a workout himself in nearly 20 years. The only trick up his sleeve this offseason was running off the Head Track Coach.

You can call Del Monaco a chef, because he’s cooking up something special in NW Ohio! Tiffin looked great this weekend! Ondracek paced Gleason to a big PB, and the 3-4-5 was pretty tight until the end. Most everybody looked pretty strong through at least 6k, some of the guys just need to focus on their arms through the finish - but that will surely come with training! Can’t wait for them to take it to the GM-AC at All-Ohio!

Allegedly Tiffin ran on a course that was very short. I’d add about a minute to all of their times. Tiffin tried to cover up with manual uploads, unfortunately the truth has come out

At this point in the season, Tiffin is the clear favorite for the conference championship. Walsh was asleep at the wheel in their 4 mile, Northwood’s 6K was similarly weak, and while Hillsdale looked decent at Calvin, their top 5 wouldn’t stand up against Ondracek, Gleeson, & Co. based upon the Tiffelberg results. Gogoobs can say what they like about course length to dissuade their own fear, but Tiffelberg is a full 8K, and particularly hilly to boot.

Northwoods looks very dangerous at this point of the season. Very fast, and without Aldrich. If they had run their full team, it would have been a bloodbath for Wayne state!

Make yourself feel better all you want, Tiffin was an absolute embarrassment last week. Guys logging 4.82 miles at best - that’s 45 seconds short for 8k at the pace their top 2 were going! Do the math (unlike whoever measured the course) and its clear they would have gotten smashed by all the other unimpressive teams that raced this weekend. Speaking of which…
Northwod. HAHAHAHA that course may as well be downhill its so flat, my mom could have run 5:00 out there. Aldritch or no, Wayne state literally tempoed the first half of and then sent the wolves with their tails between their legs. The warriors also have a big true-distance bias compared to northwood, so at this point count the wolves OUT for regional relevance. Just goes to show that no matter what teams transfer, the GLIAC will ask ways be the GMACs daddy.

LMAO Tiffin almost got beat by Wilmington College missing the guy that would have smacked the whole field by a minute. Ondracek was going hard, not even close to pacing Gleeson who was 50 meters back, and got SMACKED by little 15:07/31:18 D3 Junior Noah Tobin. Course was easily 40 seconds short.
