Structuring a 60mpw summer, base building

60 MPH is probably too much for any high schooler. Especially if you are doing it on 6 days a week you probably will get yourself injured. You are better off trying to a better quality of mileage compared to quantity.

I don't want to turn this into another single/double debate, but you mentioned benefits to capillaries from eliminating doubles, which I don't believe is research-based. If it is, please send links to where you learned this.

Well I mainly got this information from a video of timo mosterto, the coach of American fork. It was a video of him at a clinic presenting something I believe. The yt account name is jay johnson. He says that runs between 70-90 minutes are where capillaries are built. If this is wrong, please correct me, as doing doubles with the same benefits may be less tiring and more convenient some days. Question about hills. For a hilly LR, would a treadmill at incline simulate hills effectively?
