“On the distance side, we’re going to load the 4 x 1,500,” stated Harter. “That’s a collegiate record that is prime to be broken. We have the capability of doing that along with either BYU or NC State. It will be a great showdown and wouldn’t be unrealistic for all three schools to break the collegiate record.” - Arkansas women’s head coach Lance Harter
" .... Using splits of the expected line-ups for the top three teams produces a tight contest among the possible final times of 16:58.00 (Arkansas), 16:58.64 (BYU), and 17:00.22 (NC State). "
Arkansas returns to the Penn Relay Carnival this weekend with a crew of distance runners, while sprinters and jumpers head south for the LSU Invitational.
Do you actually see her listed anywhere? Or are you just assuming
I have no idea but it looks like a lot of the girls who ran last week like steelmen and quartzo aren't running again
DUDE. just because you don't see it, doesn't mean we are assuming.. you're just not savvy enough to find the line up. . . . the line up has been shared by penn relays 98 years ago.

quarzo and steelman will not run, they already did at virgnia challenge... also they are not entered at the 1500m individual because they arent a 1500m runner
only those who didnt run 5k at virginia challenge will run the 5000m at penn
BYU W going for the three distance relays - the DMR (Fr), 4x1500 (Sat) and 4x800 (Sat). Taking 2 from DMR to each of the 2 Sat relays. Look to be favorite for DMR and 4x800 though Ole Miss, UVA and/or UNC may give them a run for the DMR. Arkansas and NC State going into 4x1500 fresh. BYU has 2 of 4x1500 in Th 1500, (as does NC State though those 2 as of now are not listed for 4x1500). As we saw in Or last weekend running a solo mile (or 1500) is not as easy for many. Better to be the chaser I think.
3 of BYU's runners listed for the 4x1500 ran the 1500 tonight - 4:17.7, 4:21, 4:22 which are all slower than their PRs from this season. 1 of Arkansas's runners did - 4:17.4 all also a little slower than her PR, but close. Starliper ran 4:23 for NC State so it does not look like she will make the 4x1500 team unless someone else just can't go. Mareno did not run the 1500 tonight.

I'm more confident now that tuohy will run... As the race is getting pretty hyped
It's going to be windy though so whoever is the lead runner on the final leg might get tracked down from behind... People might just scooch down and draft off the lead runner
Also it actually was a decent race for starlipper considering the winds and that she eased up at the finish... It was rough conditions so she's doing okay just got to stay healthy
Tuohy is pretty aerodynamic so that might help her but I'm worried that others might draft off her... By scooching down right behind her... If she feels a big burst of wind she should move to the side and let it hit the runners behind her... That would be very tactical
Probably Bush, Moreno, Shaw, Tuohy w/ Vess and Starliper in reserve. Vess may even be in the main lineup. Tenn set the record with basically 3x4:20 and 1x4:10. That mix is possible for NC St. Arkansas and BYU right there though, w/Ark really the favorite.
Starliper at 4:20 and 9:20 for recent 3k is running close to hs prs, which is about where Tuohy was 1 yrs ago. We'll see if MS makes a mini surge into ACC, if not ok just stay healthy and be ready for xc.
