Not sure how many posters work with young female athletes or if you are just trolling. 19 min is very good running off what you state you have been doing. Find a coach in your area and work with him to design a program that will allow you to develop gradually. I coach a number of female athletes and a very talented 14 year old that I work with has run 17:55 off about 30-35k per week(4-5 runs per week). Your program should include lots of easy running with threshold work of 4:05-4:15k once or twice per week. Short hill repeats are also good throughout the year. Good luck.
That somebody would even fraudulently start this thread is downright embarrassing, but if you have a 14-year old girl running 17:55 off of 30-35k per week, that is truly impressive. Puts 19:02 to shame, lol.
no i didnt, that was my idiot of a little sister who went on my phone, and obviously she was too dumb to log into her own account. of course, i can't prove this, but come on, what do u think is more likely, a 50 year old pedophile who for got to switch accounts while impersonating someone, or a middle school girl who used her sister's phone? i don't really care what anyone thinks, but i have to say its very interesting how many people will jump on the fact that an honest mistake is actually an evil person. anyways have a good day, and i hope u put as much effort into ur running as u do in solving nonexistant crimes.

There are so many things wrong with your post on so many levels. Yes, it's not impossible, but a 19:02 5K time for an 8th grade girl?? That's unlikely. But that time, off of 1.5 months of 2 days jogging per week?? That's even more unlikely, but still possible. Then, of course, the fact that you responded with iwannarunagain as your username, when the first few posts were by brynnthebanana. Next, your story about your little sister is so ridiculously unbelievable. That's the first story that comes to mind for pretty much anyone when trying to save face in almost any situation similar to this: blaming it on a younger sibling. Who calls their younger sibling an "idiot of a little sister" on an online forum (especially an adult, which according to your other post, you're 18 years old)? Why would an 8th grade girl go onto your phone to use LetsRun if you're 18 years old? It might be understandable if you were closer in age, but if you're an adult, why would she ever be touching your phone or even know your password? Also, why would your sister then go on LetsRun to back up your terrible story? Why would she use your real name on an online forum where random people can see it?
The only way any of this would make sense would be if... the OP is trolling?? No, but that couldn't be. The OP is clearly being serious... Seriously, stop this. It's not funny to impersonate young girls on the Internet. That's some seriously messed up stuff.

Yes sorry the thread is ridiculous but hey here is my athletes profile. It doesn't list her 5k as it was a road race and well she was actually 13 at the the time. She turns 15 in September but based on the 4:37 1500m and 10:06 3k pretty obvious she can run sub 18. We have a female member of our group that just ran 15:25 for 5k so we do ok.
Didn't realise the guy was a troll. Oh well a coach or father will see you don't have to smash yourself at a young age to run relatively fast. .

Doubling down and trying to explain the error is what makes this thread especially weird. A “normal” nut would just slink away, register a different name, and try again later with a different described scenario. The commitment to the fraud is just… bizarre.
OP, channel this compulsion into something useful. Go write a novel about these Lexi and Brynn characters you’ve invented. Younger sibling Brynn is super talented at running and starts to get lots of attention and accolades. Live-at-home community college student Lexi had been mildly talented and got some attention from running, but now has to deal with jealously of her little sister. Maybe Lexi thought she was going to smash records in her senior track season and earn a scholarship, but alas that was 2020 and sports were canceled and she gave up the sport. Brynn approaches national class times and has trouble dealing with the attention that brings to a youngster - internet goons talking about her for instance; use Gillthegorilla’s comment specifically - but her life seems perfect to Lexi, who has to train on the HS track on her own late at night after school and work, trying to earn a future place on the state college team, while going through the usual social life struggles of transitioning to adulthood.
Have dopey Gen-X suburban parents as comedy relief characters. Include sex scenes for maximum literary value. (About Lexi, though… don’t be a creep!) Explain why Brynn’s username is “Brynnthebanana” - perhaps it relates to a heart-warming memory they shared from a vacation trip when they were younger that can help bring them together.
