I think "sit on" is also used in biking, although it's generally "wheel sucking" when used derogatorily. Also, in biking, a "Fred" is a wanker. (One application: "2. Ignoring other cyclists on the road, riding hi-lessly, wavelessly, and nodlessly by, like some smug, self-righteous snob.") Is there a similar term in running? (A little research shows that in skiing and surfing the equivalent is a "Barney".)

actually, kicking is not used only by runners...it\'s used in crew as well
