Some impressive time drops for a lot of people. Funny how intelligent training will improve someone. I personally came into HS hoping to break 6:00...not the most impressive times, but in non-track circles, telling someone you ran a 4:34 makes you a god, haha.

Maybe less then 50 who broke 4:15, but on my team alone we had 5 guys, and in our league which consisted of 8 schools there were at least 15 guys, and in our section there were at least 40 guys, and in teh state, well there were well over 100 (California though)

I've broken 5 several times since then, but not by much (yep, i'm a guy).
I'm obviously a distance runner. The longer, the better. :) My marathon PR is 2:44 -- i've run it twice, out of two.

LIST YOUR MILE PR, WITH ACCOMPANYING EXCUSES OF WHY YOU ARENT FASTER
For example:
9- 7:03 (but would have been about 5:10 if it wasnt windy and i didnt have a broken leg due to the bear that attacked me in lap 2)
10- 4:51 (I caught the black lung from my winter in the mines. So thats worth at least 3:46)
11- 4:02 (I have no talent, was hit by a bus, and the kids who beat me were on drugs)
12 - 3:42 (I beat the real WR holder but because I was only in high school they cut me from the tapes)
Oh, and it was at least 106 F on all the days with a -15 degree windchill. The 11th grade time, the wind switched every 15 sec so that I had a headwind the whole time.
