Bahrain national athletics team leaves for Tunisia to participate in the Arab Championship

The delegation of the Bahrain National Athletics Team for men and women left for Tunisia to participate in the Arab Championship-22 competitions, which will be held from 16 to 20 June.
The delegation is headed by a member of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Athletics Association and the director of the national teams, Mohammed Abdulaziz, along with the administrative staff consisting of Ali Al-Dossary, Faten Abdulnabi, Ahmed Mohammed Abdullah, the technical staff consisting of Andre Minfish and Dimiki Asjdi Baini, and the medical staff consisting of Issa Al-Dosari.
The team includes 14 male and female runners, while the men’s team includes 10 players, who are Muhammad Ayoub, Abdul Razzaq Ismail (800 meters), Al-Siddiq Mikho, Abraham Rutge (1500 meters), Zuhair Awad, Al-Siddiq Mikho (5 thousand meters), Dawit Befkadu and Abdel Nasser Almy (10,000 metres), Josha Limoshin (half marathon), Marwan Madani (discus throwing), Abdel Rahman Mahmoud (shot put).
While the women's team includes four players: Manal El Bahrawy (800 metres), Tagest Gachau and Manal El Bahrawy (1500 metres), Tagest Gachau (5 thousand meters), Punto Idao (10 thousand meters), and Taj Daba Jleisa (half marathon).
The Bahrain national athletics team is the holder of the title of the last edition of the Arab Championship, which was held in the Arab Republic of Egypt in 2019, after winning first place in the general ranking after winning 24 medals, including 15 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze.
