By your title "conversion" I take it that you think you're smart by calculating that 20k/h is = 5 min/1600m therefore slightly slower than 5:00/ mile. Re-read the post (mine) that you replied to. It says "never under 20k" meaning 'always faster.' You must not be very good at word problems. Actually you're not good with words at all. "He were running 5 min mile..." Also, "is" and "if" are not interchangable, no matter what your pseudo-mathmatician-self thinks.
Dean Morality: I'm sorry you're offended by the fact that people can ride a bike faster than you can run. My post is in no way bragging about how fast I can ride a bike. The figure I used, as oppsed to exact and real speeds, was just to prove a point. I say over 20k as I am very sure you are not running this fast, especially up hill for a long time. This figure is a very reasonable speed to be going up very long and steep hills on a bike as well. I hope you can connect these two ideas.
I challenge you to ever find any statement by me citing any numerical results of any workout or race or anywhere that I say, "I could beat you" or "I am so fast that..." like so many others feel they need to do. I highly doubt you could such words from me as I do not think it proper to shoot out numbers in such a way. The same apples with any scores be it SAT, IQ, PRs, or girls you've been with. I know them, a few others who need know them do also, and that's it.
I'm not even a cyclist unless I am also a race walker because I walk to class everyday, and a racecar driver because I drive on highways. I'm a runner by title, the others by hobby.
If anything your original post is nothing but you bragging that you were going what you think is fast and that you 'flew' by some people on bikes. I'm sorry that you are insecure enough about yourself that you must come here and post such.
