That was probably the stupidest article ever written.
I don't understand the point of this article. She hasn't even narrowed it down to one specific truck, much less tested a single burrito to find levels of nandro.
Basically proving nothing.
This woman is not a staff writer, but does freelance work and is a brand consultant. Someone should look into her clients and who may have been the impetus for this story.

As for the article. Like the banned drug cheat, they left out that it had to be offal from an uncastrated boar, which makes the story even more ridiculous.

It didn't offer any meaningful information about whether Houlihan doped, but it was surprising to me that there were three trucks that served offal, and even more surprising to hear that it was delicious. So it was better than the LRC editorial, which was purely opinions, almost all of which came across as inconceivably gullible.

Came to say exactly this. The article was pretty good. I had no expectation that I was reading a scientific study. People asking why they didn't test the meat?? Come on.
Just the fact that multiple trucks in the area sell burritos made from pig organs was newsworthy. I figured that was BS. I would never in a million years order a pig stomach burrito.
My mind hasn't changed on SH but some parts of her story a far more believable now.

Make non-castrated pig offal which is less than 2% of the pig served in the US. Serving pig offal means nothing. It has to be a very specific rate kind.

Except It takes 300 or more grams (11 ounces) of actual meat as per a published study to get a positive test result. Sorry there is just no way one 520 g burrito contains that much meat. This is a total BS story and only naive people would believe it
