Still, it isn't close to optimal. Just b/c somebody has a terrible coach doesn't mean he should settle for a pretty bad coach.
By the way, Typhoric, you are a complete waste of talent. You haven't the slightest understanding of the physiological adaptations that take place at submaximal aerobic speeds. Also, you fail to recognize rhe superior recovery effects that result from doing easy runs on non-workout days. Or should Bekele cut out his couple of easy hour runs on his easy day and just do 50 mpw instead of 120? After all, doesn't he know that he isn't properly recovering...what does he know?
