FOGDOG is good. Just seems like a normal person who enjoys running and doesn’t screw it up with too much talking or gloating.

2. 'The Runner' - the way this guy talks is just outlandish

3. Morgan McDonald - a more Australian and therefore better version of Athlete Special (who is probably #4)

In general, runners who vlog about there own running can often be narcissistic (sometimes extremely so). MM doesn't come across that way at all.

I'm excited to see what Morgan McDonald does. His channel is too new to rank it yet but hope it is good.

Not necessarily my favorite youtuber, but TheGingerRunner's "Where Dreams Go to Die", might be my favorite video on youtube period.

I enjoy a few of the channels that have been mentioned here such as VO2 Max Productions, Ginger Runner and Seth Demoor. Billy Yang makes some really good stuff too.

However my favourite, (who I don't think has mentioned yet), is Ben Parkes. Maybe he's not getting the attention he should on here because he's UK based, but for me, his is the only channel that I make sure to always catch the new videos.

I prefer the stench of failure when it comes to YT channels.

1. Triathlon Taren- a chunky low carb guy who keeps regressing.

2. Kofuzi- Can he ever break 3 hours? No , despite coaching and plated shoes.

3. Some British channel were the weather is crap and despite hating Nike, consistently runs fastest in them.

4. Nick Bare- a big middle finger to the running community. Will break 3 quite easily and do so at about 200lbs.

Honorable mention to the guys at Doctors of running. Really in-depth shoe reviews if that's what you're looking for.

SGD should be way more in this conversation. Not to bash TRP, but SGD's content quality is like 10x more than TRP. He actually has different genres of videos and creates his own visual content. Plus he doesn't repeat himself all the time. SGD's videos are interesting for both advanced and beginner runners, and has training/lifestyle/shoe advice for everyone, plus he's good enough to have some actual running clout (winning races/ran for Colorado).

I like that Canadian guy who runs for Hoka with the hot girlfriend and Gwen Stefani (or something like that) with the husband that chases her around with food.

Yes he ran 2:25:56 as a one off 3yrs ago and otherwise hasn't been under 2:33. Also ran 15:24 for 5K on a short course. He quit his job to pursue these times.

Dude is easily one of the most narcissistic personalities I've seen (selling hats etc with his name plastered over them) and targeting his videos at fun runners so he can live off of their donations to his Patreon account. It's funny that his GF only recently started a YouTube account and already comes across as more genuine and less performative.

Also In the Long Run doesn't train with BTC. He just buys all their gear and wears it in his videos. You think a guy running 4:39 for the Mile & 15:05 for 5000 would get into BTC? Grow up.

If I had to pick 3 I'd go Athlete Special, Tinman, Kristian, in that order.
