I mean sole props or partnerships are pretty easy since they probably don't have employees. There are no unemployment taxes/ quarterly returns besides sales tax and estimated payments. FICA, social security is all bundled under self employment tax of 15.3 percent.
I'm seriously not defending the guy, he's gonna be in a world of hurt if he doesn't stop but it's pretty easy to stay on top of "tax related issues" when you're pretty small.
