What are some D3 and D2 schools with a good xc team and solid academics?

I'm assuming female, right? Shouldn't be a problem walking on at all. I'm surprised you haven't been recruited by larger universities. Perhaps contact some of the schools that you are interested in? That time would place you pretty high up in most of the girl's state XC meets. I'm sure that the team could use you.

Good academics for what program or major? Remember, athletics are supposed to be extracurricular. Develop a list of school options first, then look at the teams.

I am assuming you aren't the original poster so to the OP. Saying you are an "OK" runner means nothing. Give us a range at least. D2 and good D3 school aren't looking for a 18 5K guy.

To this poster. Get faster and run more before telling any college your PR is 18:40. Coaches don't have time for "I am sure I can run faster".

You know that an 18:40 girl runner wouldn't be on Letsrun asking about walk-on standards to small schools.
