Yeah in all seriousness, unless he's ok with it being revealed, who cares.
He's a state employee. It's public knowledge. Doesn't matter if he's ok with it or not.

I'm confident it is upwards of 300K. CU loves him and he has been there forever, least they could do is pay him a fair salary.
$135,360 is his salary from the university. I do not know what other deals he has from shoe/apparel companies, but $135,360 is what he gets from the University of Colorado.
He also has some performance bonuses written into his contract of which I am not privy,

He took a 5% pay cut in April
I imagine he pulls in a lot extra from private coaching gigs (e.g. Jenny Simpson and Emma Coburn).
$230,000 with bonuses and outside money
$150,000 and a wife every 10 years
Thank God this information has been revealed and I can finally get some sleep!
Stay classy, Robbie.
The Wetmore salary seemed low to me. Maurica Powell makes $233,000 and Andy makes 198,300 at UW for example. Greg Metcalf made high 190s when he was at UW as well.

Maybe he went low on base salary so he could have bigger winning incentives?
rojo has woken up. :) who keeps deleting this post?
How does it compare with other flagship universities?
Penn State, Texas, UVA, UNC, UNM, etc?
I already told you that Iowa State pays $250K. 1/2 of the schools that you listed haven't done much in track or cross country over the past few years.

guessing that's way too low. no way successful person lives in Boulder area on that without pinching pennies. plus you're talking a d1 coach here with tons of championships
I am sure he gets a cut of the ticket sales too. That gives him a nice bump.

Even more reason to know what the coaches are being paid.
Why did LRC zone in on this? Just to say that it's lower than it maybe should be. Wetmore seems to have a great set up & gets some more money from coaching pros. Why not do some investigative journalism here & give us some sort of a report on what are the lows/highs as far as coaching salaries go.
One problem, that I see, if that a lot of assistants make pennies and are supposed to put in their (unpaid) labor until they get a decent gig. You could hire a few assistants & pay them living wages with a head coach making a modest amount. Maybe Colorado's assistants are doing ok, I have no idea.
Rojo you useless tool
Every P5 program that I am familiar with has a well paid Head Coach and several assistants earning $80k-$100k.

How is that possible lol.
The assistants literally just stand there and tell 20 year olds to run.
