Extremely fast, competitive men's race - that course is very difficult, at least as I recall it (mid 90s calling here..).. A 'true' X-country course with hills, soft terrain and unpredictable footing. Anything around 24 minutes or sub is truly excellent. For the winner to have run 23.30 is extremely impressive.
Since altitude really matters, BYU and NAU will probs be top 2 at NCAAs on the same course in March. Expect Colorado to be in better shape by then too. OSU have a shot at the podium, which is really very impressive for a non-altitude team.
And it must be said - what has happened to OU/Okla U? Those are shocking times from a D1 team (both men's and women's). Coach needs firing.
Also, why can't anyone post videos of the race on You Tube, live? In this day and age, with everyone having a good camera phone to hand and drones, it wouldn't take a huge amount to get some footage. Ask a media studies student or two to do it...really, it doesn't take much to get these things posted.
