Its beyond hateful to call an Intersex woman, a man, they are clearly not Transgender. Its a difficult topic but the right decision was made, now she has to lower her levels. I think, she knows her levels are to her advantage and I think she has knowingly played the system... this is completely different in my opinion than shaming her for how she was genetically born.
I know Intersex women who are female whose testosterone is naturally lower than a female, so her excuse is inexcusable but so is your shaming her for how she was born.

she is a biological and genetic female, do you know nothing about Intersex? IT is not transgender! She is genetically female!

This is super hard to follow. You use female pronouns for her, she says she is a lady, she should run against women. She can’t run against Olympic-caliber men. She would not even medal at some HS state meets.
She’s a woman. She should run against women. This is the simplest answer and the right one.

But this is not about so called SJW's , not sure exactly how that is defined, but everyone should be concerned about social issues and justice, just depends how far you want to take it.
For me, not a conservative, I agree with the decision.
Testosterone is the single greatest performance enhancer known to man. You need to level the playing field or you might as well let transgenders compete against biological women as well. I know the urge to be PC and woke is super strong but use common sense. Women with normal hormone levels have no chance and it ruins sport.

'She' isn't genetically a female, the XY chromosome does not make you genetically female.
And reports that 'she' was raised as a girl all the time is incorrect, a lot of opportunism and choice here.
'She' is no different to anyone else born with a disability, and I am sympathetic about that, but there is a lot of precedence where 'disability' that favoured an athlete was not accepted.
Somehow sexual abnormalities are not seen as disabilities.

She likely married a woman because she was attracted to the woman on a romantic level. This does not disqualify her from being a woman herself.

To be clear, this ruling is the right decision for the sport. I just also think that attacking Caster on a personal level is wrong and uncalled for.

Obviously Semenya does not have female DNA or it would have closed this case years ago.
You are a moron if you think the only advantage a male athlete has over a female is testosterone.
Every system in the human body in a male
contributes to their superior athletic performance, not just the endocrine system.
You can’t change a man into a women by lowering testosterone. It’s impossible to level the sporting field for men and women. You’d have to alter the DNA of trillions of cells, AT Conception.
This is a win for women’s sports.
Women’s world rugby also just banned transgender participants from competing in the women’s competition.
Finally some people understand that this is about women’s rights, half the population of the world.
The rights of those with biological disorders and mental health issues do not include stripping the rights of half the population of the earth.
The special Olympics should open up categories for those with gender disorders and mental health issues pertaining to gender identity. I’m not being disparaging by saying this. The special Olympics is for those with physical and intellectual disabilities.

The interesting question is whether she drops to 200m, increases to 5000m or gives up on professional running. She can't win either of those 2-events. No woman with a PB worse than 14:35 has ever medalled in a modern women's 5km world championship/Olympics. And as talented as she is, I don't think she can get to sub 14:35 shape. I think her chances at 200m are even worse, as, at least theoretically, Semenya could sit and kick-off of a slow pace in a 5k.
This is the right decision. While I think all women [trans, intersex, etc.] should be welcome to compete as women if their advantage is mitigated for, Caster needs to lower her testosterone to compete in a protected class. Caster's performance declined dramatically with hormone therapy (her PB under the therapy was 2:02.6). There is evidence that trans-women lose nearly all of their advantage when undergoing hormone therapy for longer than a year (or more accurately - the declines in performance caused by hormone therapy and advantages of being XY seem to cancel). But if this is true, it surely applies to not just trans people but everyone on the gender continuum, including Semenya.
