i will pick manzano in 3:53-3:54, i hope webb does well as he is weak mentally and a bad race could have him doubting himself, his new coach, his training etc. webb has enormous talent as has been occasionly seen, he needs to believe in himself, his situation and be consistent.

Making the Lithuanian team might be easier to make than the USA team especially for a HSer/College Frosh/U19/U23

Manzano.

He pushed Kiprop to the line twice last year, and from what I understand, Willis is still on the comeback from injury trail. Webb may be in excellent shape, but he still hasn't raced a serious field outside of 5th avenue last year, which he was peaking for and everyone else was tacking onto the end of a very long season. The field will not be running on fumes this weekend.

I'm anxious to see how Heath and Verzbicas perform. Should be an all around good race to watch.

hmmm, just read the preview. Did not realize Willis is already looking for his A-Qualifier. I assumed that would be further down the line. Changing my picks to:

1. Manzano

2. Willis

3. Webb

No way Webb beats a truly fit and fighting Willis this early in his 2011 campaign.

Webb wins in commanding fashion. Years later we look back on this race as the first race in the first season where Webb really got it together.

Riley Masters of Maine was supposed to be in this race, but was bumped out by Verizbacas.

Verzbicas picked the right field to aim for sub 4. There's no way he'd get another field to pull him along like this before he graduates. I hope he's in shape (not sure why he didn't do the 2 mile at Millrose)
