Paul Chelimo headlines the men's 3,000 field, which includes fellow Olympic silver medallist Paul Tanui plus Ryan Hill, Hagos Gebrhiwet, Muktar Edris and Yomif Kejelcha. Olympic champ Faith Kipyegon could be capable of something really fast in the 1500 as she faces Jenny Simpson and Shannon Rowbury, while Ruth Jebet, Hyvin Kiyeng and Emma Coburn renew acquaintances in the steeple. Plus Berian vs. Souleiman vs. Bosse vs. Makhloufi in the 800.

No man has repeated in the 800 at the Olympics since New Zealand's Peter Snell in 1960 & 1964. Defending world champ Rudisha enters as the world leader and favorite, but he'll be challenged by Kenyan Trials champ Alfred Kipketer, 2015 Worlds runner-up Adam Kszczot, France's Pierre-Ambroise Bosse and many more.

The last Diamond League meet before a month long break features some great mid-d events. In the men's 800, Rudisha faces Pierre-Ambroise Bosse, Ferguson Cheruiyot and Adam Kszczot while Dawit Seyaum is entered in the women's 1500 against Laura Muir and Hellen Obiri.
