Yared Nuguse passed Jakob Ingebrigtsen late to win the 1500 in 3:29.21 as Sha’Carri Richardson (10.84) topped Olympic champ Julien Alfred (10.88) in the 100 and Grant Holloway broke 13 in the 110 hurdles for the 12th time.

Alfred (10.72) buried the field with a great start and drive phase, while Richardson, who started poorly, took the silver in 10.87 with the US's Melissa Jefferson 3rd in 10.92.

Richardson is seeking to become the first American to win the women's Olympic 100 since Gail Devers in 1996. Can St. Lucia's Julien Alfred or any of the Jamaicans stop her?

It was a battle of unbeatens in Hungary and it was the NCAA champ Alfred who came out on top, 10.89 to 10.97.
