Olympic 1500m champ Cole Hocker earned the biggest non-championship win of his career in a stacked 2-mile while teenage sensation Cam Myers showed while he might be a future Olympic champ in winning the men's Wanamaker mile. The women's Wanamaker mile was won for the 1st time by Nikki Hiltz. Collegiate records went to Colin Sahlman and Doris Lemngole while highschooler Cooper Lutkenhaus continued to roll in the men's 600 where he set an U20 world record at an exciting 2026 Millrose Games.

Doris Lemngole shattered the NCAA steeplechase record with an 8:58.15 while Savannah Sutherland clocked 52.46 in the 400m hurdles to break Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone’s record on a historic final day of the 2025 NCAA Women’s Championships. Georgia cruised to the team title, and standout wins also came from Sophie O’Sullivan, Roisin Willis, Pamela Kosgei, and Aaliyah Butler.

BYU’s Riley Chamberlain ran down Oregon’s NCAA mile record holder Silan Ayyildiz on the anchor leg of the DMR while Lemngole added the NCAA 5k crown to her steeple and XC titles.

Blanks ran under the World Championship standard in what may have been his final race for Harvard as Lemngole (14:52.57) just held off Hilda Olemomoi (14:52.84) and just got under Parker Valby's old indoor collegiate record of 14:52.79.

BYU won its second title in the Diljeet Taylor era as Alabama's Doris Lemngole moved up one spot from last year to win the crown.
