Cross country really gets going this weekend with the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown and the Roy Griak Invitational in Minnesota. We tell you what to watch out for on Friday in Boston, where Edward Cheserek and the No. 3 Oregon men will take on No. 8 Syracuse on the site of Cheserek's first NCAA victory one year ago. In the women's race, No. 1 Michigan faces No. 5 Georgetown, defending national champions No. 18 Providence and three other ranked teams.

Cornell's AD traveled 258 miles to watch a college track meet and dyed his hair and eyebrows red after the Cornell men won the outdoor Heps (Ivy League) crown.
