Both races were close as Legese beat out Bayelign Yegsaw by just one second and Kuma won by four as 23 seconds separated the top-5 (Florence Kiplagat was 5th).

Kenenisa Bekele Wins TSK 25K, But No Where Near The WR With 1:13:48
There was talk of the 1:11:18 WR and Bekele said he wanted at least his 1:12:47 PB, but Bekele actually fell off the leaders at one point before coming back to win by a good margin. Ethiopia's Degitu Azimeraw got an upset 3-second win over 2015 World marathon silver meadalist Helah Kiprop.

Christo Landry Ties American Record To Win At USA 25K Championships; Kellyn Johnson Gets Women's Title
Samson Gebreyohannes Gezaha won the overall race in 1:14:08 as US 10-Mile champ Landry ran 1:14:18 to tie Mo Trafeh's AR and take 2nd overall. Shadrack Biwott was 3rd overall (2nd American) in 1:14:31. Chris Solinsky was 3rd American and 5th overall (1:16:44). Northern Arizona Elite's Johnson won in 1:25:26 over Dot McMahan and Mattie Suver.
