While ranking slightly above average overall, the Saucony Endorphin Shift 3 has amazing cushioning and strong marks for comfort.

Can get them for pretty cheap if you look for deals (80 on running warehouse as I type this). They are pretty versatile, right now I will be wearing them for long runs and MLRs mostly, but could work as an easy day or a lowkey workout shoe.
College XC and Mid-D runner was coming back from IT Band injury started wearing these and they felt 100x better
High stack height with outstanding cushioning.
Tread is durable enough to last 400+ miles but does not grip well in mud or wet wood
I believe in mixing up training shoes regularly, but if I didn't, I would train in the Endorphin Shift 3 everyday. The Shift 2 was the same experience and I haven't been disappointed with the Shift 3.
I really enjoy these shoes. They aren't the softest shoes ever and I can see why people would not enjoy the feel of them but they are still very comfortable. They are super durable, I have run about 100 miles in them so far and haven't noticed much wear. They aren't great for runs faster than 7 flat or 6:30 but are great for slower runs.
Perfect for those with mild stability needs
Had injury problems that disappeared completely after switching. Currently on my 7th consecutive pair, the only problem is they start to break apart around 350 miles.
The Saucony Endorphin Shift 3 is the 3rd version of the shoe I've had. This one is by far the worst. They took away the speed roll and made the shoe a marshmallow of supbar cushioning with no responsiveness. It doesn't feel at all like the other versions which were firmer and more responsive with at least some PEBAX feel.
