I started with Nike Free 4.0, then Free 3.0 and now I run on Hyperfeels for the last 3 years. The flyknit hugs you like a sock. The insole is one of the softest and absorbent I have experienced. I wear with very thin socks. Without socks or in wet conditions the foot can slide around on top of the insole. The shoe is extremely flexible and light. The edges of the base are rounded so its best suited for flat surfaces. The shoe may roll on uneven surfaces which could lead to turning an ankle. I train and race (5k through marathon) in them.
I have sesamoiditis and bunions. This is the first shoe that does not cause me any discomfort. I had been running on the free 3.0 for a couple of years and switched to these this year. I use them exclusively., now. The shoes is snug but not binding. The inner is soft and forgiving. However, the footprint is small. If you supinate, it's easy to turn an ankle if on a trail or uneven surface.
