I ran, walked, competed and slept in the Balance 840's with pleasure. They have lasted a good length of time and are still in decent condition. My milage is not what it was for much of my life but I also used them for everyday activities besides running. There are many great shoes out there in todays world and I will shop for my next pair. In the end I would not be surprised to find myself in another pair of New Balance shoes.

I am as satisfied with these shoes as most any that I have owned which are many since I have been running and training since I was 14 now 66. My son Sam bought these shoes for me about two years ago and they have been a treat the entire ride. Without hesitation I would get another pair of these; but, because there are so many high quality running shoes out there, I will likely look around and shop for equal or superior quality. Certainly I would recommend the New Balance 840v3's to anyone who desires a quality ride, a smart look and a long lasting shoe.
