Comfortable and padded; doesn't cause foot pain like minimal shoes. Gone through 5 pairs. Upper near ankles tear and look ragged very quickly, otherwise they are reasonably durable.

I recommend this shoe for anyone with troublesome bunions...the wide toe box of this shoe is the best solution I've found.
