The foam midsole continues to grow and a further cushioned feel is created over the 27 (and the 26 more so). They could go with a thicker layer of carbon rubber on the outer sole. I'm running these 500-550 miles (35-40MPW, and I'm not fit anymore, so gone are the days of 700+ miles on shoes).
