The Akasha trail shoe has a nice locked in feel, has great grip on all surfaces, is durable and will last for a lot of miles. On the downside, it is on the expensive side, can be hard to find, and you need to size up 1/2 to 1 full size. I wear a 11 1/2 in the Akasha vs a 10 1/2 or 11 in other sizes.
