The Brooks Pure Cadence 4 is an excellent lightweight minimal running shoe that provides great comfort and protection and allows the runner keep full control. I am inclined to rate 10 overall but have only been running in these shoes for 6 weeks.
Bought it as a low (not zero) drop training shoe... ended up running a marathon in them. Best use is probably training (not racing - there are lighter options available) tempo and marathon pace runs. I like the upper - snug but not restrictive... enough room in the toe box... like that the laces have a little stretch to them. Overall I would buy them again...
Very comfortable, great performing shoe.
Light, form fitting, and fast
