Global Runs on March 27th to Raise Awareness of the 1 Year Anniversary of Detainment of Wall Street Journal Reporter Evan Gershkovich

On March 27th, global runs are being organized to raise awareness of the 1 year anniversary of the detainment of Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich by the Russian government.

Turns out Evan is a runner himself.

The US government, the European Union, and press organizations throughout the world have called for Evan’s release.

The one year anniversary of his detainment is on March 29th, but the runs will occur on Wednesday, March 27th, and will be followed by social gatherings (drinks at bars) in some locations.

Organizers are asking people to RSVP, so any bars involved can get a headcount.
