Noah Lyles Wins 2023 100m World Championship
By LetsRun.comNoah Lyles lived up to the hype as he ran a 9.83 100m to win the 2023 World Championship and beat Lestile Tebogo of Botswana who took home the silver and Zharnel Hughes of Great Britain who took home the bronze. Tebogo is the first African man to ever win a medal in the 100m.
Lyles will turn his focus now to the 200m, the event where he is the two-time defending World Champion and American record holder. He will look to be the first man to win the 100/200 double since Usain Bolt.
