Thursday was media day in New York City for the 50th edition of the marathon and LetsRun.com spoke to all the major players.

Kenenisa Bekele and Peres Jepchirchir are the headliners while Molly Seidel, fresh off her Olympic bronze, leads the Americans. But Olympic silver medallist Abdi Negeeye sounded very confident, half marathon world record holder Kibowitt Kandie is making his debut as is Ben True and veterans Jared Ward and Stephanie Bruce still could be factors.
