Reebok Boston 10-K for Women (42nd)
(Formerly called “Tufts Health Plan 10-K for Women”)
(Women Only)
Boston, MA, USA; Monday, October 8 (12:00 start)
Distance: SHORT COURSE (see below)
Course Record: 31:21, Molly Huddle, 2015
Weather: Cloudy, 57F/14C, humid
Timing: Granite State Race Services
Race History: http://www.arrs.run/HP_Tuf10.htm
NOTE: While we don’t have the full details yet, it is safe to say that the athletes did not run the full 10-K distance here.  From several sources on the ground we learned that the second turnaround, between the 3 and 4 mile points, was not in the correct location, shaving about one minute off of the top runners’ times. Nonetheless, Emily Sisson and Buze Diriba engaged in a spirited battle with Sisson coming out on top.  It was her second win here; she also won in 2016. –Ed.
