Watch Kiwi Eliza McCartney break world junior pole vault record with 4.64m clearance

New Zealand’s Eliza McCartney broke the world junior pole vault record today with a 4.64m clearance today according to the IAAF. You can watch the vault below. McCartney, who won world junior bronze in 2013 and won the silver at the World University Games this year, turned 19 on December 11th.

Her previous best before today was 4.50. She’s shown the following progression in terms of pbs the last few years.
