Wilson Kipsang became the first to run sub-2:04 twice

Kipsang’s time 2:03:23 is the World Record on the standard course.
It follows that it is also the Kenyan reocrd, fastest marathon on German soil, fastest marathon in month of September and fastest marathon by 31 years old.
Eliud Kipchoge ran fastest marathon for 28 years old. Previously Denis Kimetto’s 2:04:16 from last year was fastest for 28 years old.
