PUMA Returns To Running

Back around the turn of the century, Puma sponsored some of the biggest names in distance running: Noah Ngeny, Wilson Kipketer, Daniel Komen, Moses Kiptanui, and Bernard Lagat. Then they went AWOL. Puma is now returning to running and has started its own pro group in the US featuring Taylor Werner and former Stanford stars Steven Fahy and Fiona O'Keeffe.             McMullen, a semi-finalist in the 1500m at the 1996 Atlanta Games, was only 49-years-old. In a sad coincidence, he passed away one day after Bob Parks, the head coach at Eastern Michigan when McMullen was there.
