Day 2 of the Prefontaine Classic saw a 12.87 wind aided hurdles by Liu Xiang, a 49.39 400m by Sanya Richards Ross, a Bowerman Mile win by Asbel Kiprop, Mo Farah win the 5000m with Galen Rupp going sub 13:00 for the first time, and LaShawn Merritt beat Kirani James in the 400m.
