10:44 am eastern update: London has taken down the on demand stream until they fix the video and sound syncing problem. If you enter your email address we will notify you when everything is synced. For more info read below. We will only use your email to send you an email on this issue.

9:33 am eastern note on watching the on demand coverage: The on demand video stream of the 2011 Virgin London Marathon can be found here. The video actually has a black screen saying "Live Stream starting at 03:55 am EST on April 17, 2011" and starts playing automatically but will have that black screen for the first 2+ minutes of the video. The sound starts 1:22 into the video, the problem is the video starts about a minute later but as of 9:30 am eastern the sound and video are not currently synced. We have contacted Virgin London race director Dave Bedford and he said he will take care of this problem but we have no idea how long it will take.

So you can start watching now On Demand with the sound and video not synced. (You can fast forward the video to any point you want of the race as well).
