Oscar Pistorius, aka Blade Runner, the paralympic athlete hoping to qualify for the 2012 Olympics in the 400m or the 4X400 suffered his first loss in paralympic competition in 7 years as he lost in the 100m at the Paralympic World Championships in Christchurch, New Zealand to American Jerome Singleton.

Singleton not only is fast, but he is smart as he was a double major in Mathematics and Applies Physics in college. He got the silver in the 100m in Beijing.
