Kimbia Athletics (Chris Solinsky's agency) has two short video clips with Chris Solinsky after what we consider his best 5k of the year, Thursday's 12:56.45 third place finish in Zurich. Chris competed up front, contended for the win, and had his highest finish (3rd) and another sub 13 clocking.  Race recap here.

Clip 1: Taking the Lead

Chris on starting to take the lead and stopping, "The times are irrelevant. Competing is number one. The thing I'm number one mad about the race is, the spot I've been thinking about all year of taking the lead and pushing it completely opened up for me to do it. I started going and I backed off because I got scared..."

Clip 2: On His Season
"If I can finish my season with 13:08 as my worst 5k,that's a damn good season. Even though I'm a little disappointed with this race...No matter how the race plays out I have it in mne to get under 13:00. With another year or tow years of training, I don't know where I'm going to be...?"
