Shoe is much better than the 4, 5, or 6. Very durable and comfortable. Still not like the Kinvara 2 which was my favorite, but a close second.

My physical therapist put me in the Kinvara 7 after I was smacking the daylights out of my heels running in the Guide 7...this shoe changed my gait (for the better), prevented me from developing stress injuries in the shins again, and held up for thousands of miles - which may not be what is recommended, but I consider it super impressive. It’s fairly neutral, doesn’t have a ton of cushioning, and felt light from the first run.

Has been very supportive even running 60+ mpw. Very comfortable. Good like the other Kinvaras.

I try to put 1000 miles on my shoes, and these almost got there. Light, comfortable, enough cushioning.

Use these for long runs, speed work, tempo runs, weekday slogs, even raced a 5K and PR'ed in them. The perfect blend of cushy, responsive, and lightweight for me. And the shape fits my foot perfectly (wide forefoot, narrow heel).

I have had many versions of the Kinvara, and while they differ somewhat, I like them all. The shoe is light and has no unnecessary bells and whistles for a neutral runner. It has enough padding to be comfortable but still gives a good road feel--it's not like running on squishy pillows. It feels reasonably firm and bouncy, not dissipative. Durability is excellent--I get about 500 miles before any wear is shown and about 1000 miles before I reluctantly retire them. Back of heel is nice and soft for people like me with insertional Achilles issues. Forefoot is a bit narrow for a wide-forefooted person like myself, and I find a men's 7.5 fits better than a women's 9.

Its a low drop shoe thats comfortable and durable. Have about 800 miles on this pair and it's stillgoing strong; no holes, some wear on the bottom.

Well cushioned, fairly light shoe that is good for all around miles. The 7 feels a little less responsive than previous iterations.

My favorite version of this shoe is the Kinvara 5. The 6 was too narrow but the 7 is back on the right track. I got about 300 miles out of this shoe but probably could have doubled that number if the stitching on the lateral side of the toe-box didn't blow out on on me. The traction on this shoe is weak compared with other road models but I really like the fit and the low drop helps promote a midfoot strike for me.
