Nothing but good things to say about the shoe itself. These are very versatile lightweight trainers, comfortable for easy runs, long runs, fartleks, and tempos. The ZoomX foam is very comfortable--cushioned and responsive-- and I didn't see noticeable wear on them until after 300 miles. I will say, however, I think Nike was way off base with their retail price. I paid $100 for these on sale and would have paid up to $130, but these are not $180 shoes. In my mind, anything over $150 needs to be at the super shoe (Vaporfly Next%) level in terms of performance. Nevertheless, I'm very disappointed that Nike has discontinued this line. Pick up a pair if you can still find them!

My feet are Nike snobs. There's no way around it. I've tried a load of brands since I started running in 2015, and I just keep falling back to the Pegasus line. That's not a bad thing, but part of me as always wanted to venture out and see what's better. Nevertheless, I have had my eyes on the Turbo edition of the Pegasus since it came out. I have the VaporFly 4% as my marathon shoe, and Pegasus 33-35s as my daily trainer. The Turbo 2 takes the best of both and turns the experience into a ride worth talking about all day. If you run in the VaporFlys, you'll immediately recognize the ZoomX foam feel when you step into the Turbo 2s. They have that bounce that specific to the ZoomX shoes. You also feel that pop of the react foam within the first few strides.

The build is very familiar to the regular Pegasus line. The outsole is basically the same. The upper is breathable, and I haven't noticed any hot spots. It has been a comfortable ride. My one dislike is the tongue. It has no form, so it has gotten folded up on each of the runs I've taken in it. Maybe I need to adjust the way I'm tying them, but I haven't found a fix to that yet.

As a side note, I think I mistakenly got them early. Fleet Feet told me they couldn't sell them until July 11th, but Rogue Running in Austin sold them to me on the 6th. Oh well. All sales final ;)

Great all around shoe. Probably best as a trainer but light enough to be used for tempos or half marathons. The heel protrusion is a little weird and elf-like. My first pair (I'm on my third pair now) the heel actually separated from the base of the shoe after 300-400km but the Nike store happily warranteed them. The price point is a little high ($240 CAD). Probably worth $200 CAD but like I said I'm on my third pair now (after being a lifelong Adidas Supernova Cushion ---> Glide guy). So I guess I'm just Nike sucker convert.

Overall shoe was great. Plenty support. Enough cushion for 400+ miles. Toe box was a bit wide for my liking. I would have purchased narrow version but Nike did not offer. Overall I would re-purchase if price was not $180. Way too much for a trainer.

Lots of goods, but I definetly don't feel good with the upper; I have high instep.

Currently, on my 4th pair of Turbo 2's, I had 2 pairs of the 35 Turbos beforehand. The Turbo 2's do almost everything the old Turbos did but better. The only thing not done better is looks. I prefer the street style look of the older Turbo's. However, the weight on the new ones is better, the comfort is better, the durability is far superior, and the versatility is better. These feel like clouds on recovery days, but on speed days they're up there putting the work in without complaint. Probably the best shoes I've run in for day to day purposes, they will be missed once they go out of production.

I have over 20 pairs of running shoes and these ones are my best for daily training with the Zoom Fly 3 being close second. I like that there is enough cushion and softness and that the mid-sole does not feel "dead", I feel that energy return.

Dollar for dollar this is the best shoe that's not the vaporfly. The cushioning is there, its fast. This can be your speed training shoe or your recovery shoe. It's amazing. Not as boucy as the original turbo but that's what makes it better. They've traded 10% bounce, which wore out quickly, for 25% more speed.

However it's pureness doesn't last forever. After about 150-200 mi you will notice a difference. Like the vaporfly the pebax doesn't last forever. However I found it still preferable to a regular Pegasus still at this point. Between 250-300 I start phasing in a new shoe.

Wear them up to 400 miles. after 200 feel a little dead. ZoomX foam feels good and is soft.

My first run in the Nike Pegasus turbo 2 was alright and that’s putting it simply the problem was it took about 4 miles to break in but this is understandable it’s a running shoe after all it happens. After I had broken in the shoes all my runs so far have been amazing. The Cushioning has been perfect and the upper has been basically perfect as well I love the shoe so far and I’m only giving it a 9/10 because the shoes took a few miles to break in.In the end I loved the shoe and I hopefully will continue feeling this way.
