Honestly just an awesome shoe. One word I could use to describe it would be smooth. The rocker on it plus the fresh foam makes it pretty responsive. Gotta be the best daily trainer I’ve ever worn because my foot just feels awesome in it. The sock-like upper also is the best upper I’ve ever experienced in a shoe. Highly recommend.

For runs or a 12 hour shift I always go back to my 1080’s.   They are a great shoe.

Can get over 500 miles without breaking down. Not the lightest or the springiest but a solid shoe that you can get your training runs in. Also comes in a wide which is rare for a quality shoe.

I have enjoyed most iterations of the 1080. This one is the best yet. It feels slightly more stable than its predecessor but still retains its balance of cushion and responsiveness. It feels great out the box. The only downside is the lack of durability- they start to feel flat quite quickly.

    I think he’s a problem with fabrication!

because I using this shoes ( other versions 9/ 10 / 11 ) has so much time and this time it’s not very comfortable!

So far, the best in the series.  Great feel, good look.  I even convinced my 17yr old son to give them a try, and he's been happy (previously worn Pegs).

This is my third pair of 1080s, after having been a loyal to a different brand for many years. I just bought this pair a month ago. This shoe is durable, as I still use my first pair of 1080s as lawn mowing shoes but they're still in good shape. I put over 600 miles on them. The ride is very sturdy, yet comfortable. It protects your ankle very well because of the way it wraps around it. Currently, I switch between my new pair and my second pair. With each pair I will get close to 500 miles. The last two pairs, I added some inserts after about 400 miles, feels like new. I will do the same with this new pair once I reach that milestone. This is a great shoe.

I love the way this show fits and the color options are amazing. I have a wider foot and my daughter has a narrow foot, and the average B width fits us both great. I'm 51 years old and have had 5 knee surgeries but these shoes have no problem getting me to 40 mile weeks in comfort.

The New Balance 1080 is my first true pair of daily trainer without a carbon fiber plate. I went through about 4 pairs of the Hoka Carbon X and Rocket X before shifting to the 1080 as a daily trainer. After making the switch, my running had improved and my times are much quicker than they were when I was wearing the Rocket X or Carbon X! The only real downside I have for this shoe is that the colorways are not very interesting, but that's about the least important thing in a shoe.

Shoe has a very cushioned but springy ride. Feels fast but protects your feet. The contoured sole helps to time through toe off. The fit is very comfortable and is easy to take off and put on. I would recommend for ling runs, easy runs, tempo runs, and even races.
