I'm a former Brooks Adrenaline wearer who switched to the Hoka Clifton and Bondi after taking a few years off from running and some substantial weight gain. Initially, I loved the Clifton and Bondi's cushion, but I started experiencing injury issues in both achilles and knees. I switched to the Arahi two years ago in hopes that a return to the stability shoe would help, and it's been great. Although the Arahi is not as cushioned as some of the other Hoka models, it provides the right mix of cusion and stability to make it a great shoe. It's allowed me to get back to race weight without the nagging injuries I experienced for so long.
Due to these shoes, I have lost 3 toenails. I don’t recommend them.
Wide and flat feet with ‘big’ big toe joint - NO problem
These shoes are ok, stable and comfortable(wouldn't run more than 15k though)
However, they are hard hitting the ground. It hurts running on pavement for a while, so that's a consideration.
Big fan of the shoe. Good stability control and cushioning feels great under the feet. I haven’t had much knee or foot pain since training in these. Toe box seems a little narrow but it isn’t much of an issue.
The Arahi 6 suit my feet perfectly. Comfortable and just the right amount of support.
Love this shoe. It’s relatively light & provides great support.
A great neutral shoe that is great for longer distances like the marathon
Overall solid shoe. Feels good on long runs, good cushioning but not too soft. Wears out quickly... rarely get much more than 300 miles in it before I start feeling my knees again.
Relatively comfortable, front of toe box is a bit slim. Standard but effective foam. Very durable. Good for shin splints. Quality stock inserts good guide rails. Appearance is basic. High heel guard. Good for toe/ball strikers.
